CNY Mickey Go Local Early Concepts

Early concept stuff done for Singapore's Chinese New Year celebrations. A lot of changes were made but I was glad to see that most of the design work for the pailou and shophouses were left intact.

Mickey Go Local

I was approached by Disney late last year to work with them on a new style guide featuring local Singaporean icons and flavours and this is what we came up with. Merchandise is now available in stores and there is a pop up exhibition/store at Raffles City and at Takashimaya from 1st August to the 29th of August.

This project was a lot of fun to work and I greatly enjoyed playing around with the watercolour look they wanted for most of the illustrations.
